# Season Alpha

Deposit, Split, tailor your yield, and earn Season Alpha rewards.

Season Alpha is the first campaign season for AquaFlux. Users can earn Aqua Points and unlock Season Alpha badges through on-chain activity, token holdings, liquidity contribution, and community participation.

## About Season Alpha

Season Alpha tracks contribution in two ways:

* **Aqua Points** track your protocol interactions, holdings, and community participation.
* **Badges** track the key milestones you complete across action, genesis, and community paths.

## Aqua Points

Holding points are based on the USD value of eligible assets detected by daily snapshots.

### How holding points work

* Daily holding points follow this formula: `Holding value in amount x task points x Early Bird multiplier`.

&#x20;      Example: holding **10 AQ Token** for 1 day earns `10 x 100 = 1000 pts` before any Early Bird bonus.

* LP currently has the highest base daily rate shown on the campaign page: **600 pts per 1U LP per day**.
* Points from direct protocol actions update shortly after the transaction is confirmed.
* Holding task points and social interaction points update daily at **00:00 UTC**.

## Early Bird Multiplier

The earlier you participate, the higher the multiplier applied to your eligible holding points.

* Badge status on the page changes with your wallet progress.
* Once a requirement is met, the badge appears as **Unlocked** in your profile.

The community path starts with following AquaFlux on X, then expands into weekly and seasonal social badges.

* As the season expands, new missions, point sources, and limited-time badges may be added.

## FAQ

### How are points calculated?

Points are based on protocol interactions and time-adjusted holding value. Core actions may have fixed one-time rewards, while holding tasks generate daily points based on the USD value held.

### How do holding tasks work?

Once you hold qualifying LP, P-Token, or S-Token assets, the indexer takes a daily snapshot. If the snapshot detects eligible holdings above the minimum threshold, you automatically accrue daily points.

### How are badges unlocked?

Badges unlock after you reach specific milestones, either on-chain or off-chain, such as social tasks. Once the requirement is met, the badge appears in your profile.

### Are points updated in real time?

Points from direct protocol actions update shortly after transaction confirmation. Holding task points and social interaction points update daily at **00:00 UTC**.

### Will more missions or badges be added later?

Yes. As Season Alpha progresses and new protocol features launch, the campaign page may add new ways to earn points and exclusive limited-time badges.
